Brett Tolley, co-founder and manager of Chatham Harvesters, was born and raised in Chatham to a multi-generation fishing family. Brett has long recognized a disconnect between our local fishing families, their catch, and the broader community. Over the past 15 years Brett has worked for the North American Marine Alliance, advocating for healthier fishing communities and marine ecosystems on national and international platforms. With extensive experience on countless fishing boats, direct involvement with numerous fishing families, and collaboration with networks connecting millions striving to enhance the seafood system, Brett remains committed to bridging these divides and fostering a more harmonious relationship between people and the sea.
